Kendriya Vidyalayas are equally strong in their scout and guide activities. As in the case of games and sports, in the scout and guide movement too, the KVS has been accorded the status of a State by the Bharat Scouts and Guides Organisation to whom it is affiliated since 1976.

This activity helps inculcate moral, social and democratic values besides developing the spirit of cooperation and community living on the one hand and the qualities of leadership and enterprise on the other.

•  Regular Drill on Monday and Tuesday for whole of year.
•  'Seven' students passed out 'A' Examination
•  Ten Cadets attended a camp during summer holidays at Kapurthala Sainik School.
•  Three times attended meeting at N.C.C. office by care taker Kulwant TGT (Social Science)
•  Got III position in Drill competition held at Sainik School Kapurthala in the month of June 08.
•   Divya (X-C) won three prizes in various activities (Dance, Solo Song etc) in the same competition.
• Rajya Puraskar Camp held on 06/10/09 to 10/10/09 at KV No.1, Chennai. They have successfully passed. Their names are:

• Diksha Samaroh was organised at Vidyalaya Level.
• A One day Pratham Sopan Testing Camp was organised in Vidylaya in which 24 Guide & 32 Scouts passed.
• Dwitya Sopan Testing Camp was organised in Vidyalaya in which 24 guide & 30 scout passed.
• Tritya Sopan Testing Camp was held at KV No. 1 , AFS Adampur in which 4 Scout passed.
• Tritya Sopan Testing Camp was held at KV,Pathankot in which 4 Guide passed.
• 3 Guide & 2 Scouts are registered for Rashtrapati Award.
• Jr. wing of NCC Cadets won the First prize in Reublic Day Parade 2012
